The following policies govern your use of Sprout Skills at Home. By purchasing a membership to Sprout Skills at Home you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy below. Please read both before completing your purchase.

Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or purchasing a membership to Sprout Skills at Home (sproutskillsathome.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the platform. These terms apply to all members regardless of membership tier.

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a membership or access the platform. By agreeing to these terms you represent that you are 18 years of age or older.

Description of Services

Sprout Skills at Home is an online educational membership platform providing pediatric occupational therapy-informed developmental content for parents and caregivers of children from birth through eight years of age. Content includes written articles, activity guides, infographics, framework resources, video responses, and community discussion.

The platform is organized into membership tiers — Planter Box, Garden, and Greenhouse — each providing access to different levels of content as described on the membership page at sproutskillsathome.com. Content availability at each tier is subject to change with reasonable notice.

Educational Nature — Not a Therapy or Clinical Service

IMPORTANT: Sprout Skills at Home is an educational platform only. Nothing on this platform constitutes occupational therapy services, medical advice, clinical intervention, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. Accessing or using this platform does not create a therapeutic relationship, professional relationship, or any clinical relationship between you and Kari Dale or Sprout Skills at Home.

The content on this platform is grounded in occupational therapy principles and pediatric developmental science and is created by a licensed occupational therapist. It is intended for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for individualized professional assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have concerns about your child's development, health, or behavior, consult a qualified healthcare provider, licensed occupational therapist, or other appropriate clinical professional. Nothing on this platform should delay or replace that consultation.

Sprout Skills at Home is not responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on content accessed through this platform.

Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

All content on Sprout Skills at Home — including but not limited to written articles, framework materials, activity cards, infographics, graphics, images, video content, audio content, the Growth Garden framework, the Flower Model, seasonal content structures, platform architecture, and all branding — is the original intellectual property of Kari Dale, doing business as Sprout Skills at Home, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

Some content on this platform was developed with the assistance of AI writing tools and has been reviewed, edited, and approved by a licensed occupational therapist. AI-assisted content is considered original work owned by Sprout Skills at Home.

Membership to this platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use platform content for your own personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not constitute a transfer of ownership of any content.

Prohibited Uses — Content Reproduction and Distribution

You may not reproduce, copy, screenshot, download, distribute, share, resell, publish, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise use any content from this platform outside of your own personal use without express written permission from Sprout Skills at Home.

Specifically prohibited without limitation:

Sharing login credentials with any other person
Purchasing one membership for use by multiple people, households, or organizations
Reproducing or distributing written content, activity cards, infographics, or framework materials to others whether for free or for compensation
Using platform content in professional practice, workshops, trainings, presentations, or other professional settings without written permission
Copying or adapting platform content for use in your own products, courses, or platforms
Sharing screenshots or excerpts of platform content on social media or other public channels beyond brief illustrative quotes with clear attribution

One membership is licensed for use by one individual household only. Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of membership without refund and may be subject to legal action.

Community Conduct

Sprout Skills at Home includes a community space for member discussion and connection. By participating in the community you agree to conduct yourself with respect, honesty, and care for other members.

The following are prohibited in the community space:

Harassment, bullying, or targeted criticism of other members
Sharing personal or identifying information about other members without consent
Providing clinical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations to other members
Promotional content, advertising, or solicitation of any kind
Content that is discriminatory, hateful, or harmful
Sharing of platform content outside the platform

Sprout Skills at Home reserves the right to remove any content from the community space and to terminate the membership of any member who violates community conduct standards, at our sole discretion and without refund.

Subscription, Billing, and Payment

Membership to Sprout Skills at Home is offered on a monthly recurring subscription basis. By purchasing a membership you authorize Sprout Skills at Home to charge your payment method on a monthly basis at the rate associated with your selected membership tier.

Founding member pricing, where applicable, is locked at the rate in effect at the time of original purchase for as long as the membership remains active and in good standing. Founding member pricing is forfeited upon cancellation and is not reinstated upon re-subscription.

Sprout Skills at Home reserves the right to change membership pricing for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days notice of any pricing changes to their tier.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Sprout Skills at Home does not store payment card information.

Members wishing to upgrade their membership tier must submit an upgrade request through the designated upgrade form at sproutskillsathome.com/membership-upgrade prior to purchasing a new tier. Sprout Skills at Home is not responsible for duplicate charges resulting from direct tier purchases made without submitting an upgrade request.

Refund Policy

All membership purchases are final. Sprout Skills at Home does not offer refunds on monthly subscription charges, partial month charges, or any fees paid prior to cancellation.

This policy exists because platform content is made immediately accessible upon purchase and cannot be returned. By completing your purchase you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at grow@sproutskillsathome.com within 7 days of the charge and we will review your account.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your membership at any time. To cancel, access your account settings within the platform or contact grow@sproutskillsathome.com. Upon cancellation your membership will remain active through the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the following billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period.

Sprout Skills at Home reserves the right to cancel or suspend any membership at any time for violation of these Terms of Service.

Platform Modifications

Sprout Skills at Home reserves the right to modify, update, add to, or remove content from the platform at any time. Content is regularly updated and expanded as part of the ongoing monthly drop schedule. Sprout Skills at Home does not guarantee that any specific piece of content will remain available indefinitely.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes we will notify active members by email.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Sprout Skills at Home is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Use of this platform and implementation of any content, strategies, or suggestions is entirely at your own discretion and risk. Sprout Skills at Home is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from your use of platform content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kari Dale, doing business as Sprout Skills at Home, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use this platform, regardless of the cause or the theory of liability.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for your membership in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ohio.

Sprout Skills at Home uses Kajabi as its platform provider. Kajabi automatically collects certain information about how you use the platform, including:

This information is collected automatically through Kajabi's platform infrastructure. We use this information to understand how members engage with content, identify which content is most useful, and improve the platform experience. Community Content

If you participate in the Sprout Skills at Home community space, any content you post — including text, questions, and responses — is visible to other members of the platform. Do not post personal or sensitive information in the community that you would not want other members to see.

Communications

When you join the platform your email address is used to send you account-related communications including welcome emails, membership updates, platform announcements, and new content notifications. You may update your email preferences within your account settings at any time.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your membership account
Process your subscription and billing through Stripe
Deliver platform content and member communications
Understand content engagement to improve platform offerings
Respond to member inquiries and support requests

How We Do Not Use Your Information

Sprout Skills at Home does not:

Sell your personal information to any third party
Share your personal information with advertisers
Use your information for targeted advertising of any kind
Share your information with third parties except as necessary to operate the platform — specifically Kajabi as our platform provider and Stripe as our payment processor

Third-Party Service Providers

Sprout Skills at Home operates through the following third-party service providers who may have access to certain member information as necessary to provide their services:

We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period thereafter in accordance with our business and legal obligations. If you cancel your membership and request deletion of your account information, contact us at grow@sproutskillsathome.com and we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.

Children's Privacy

Sprout Skills at Home is intended for use by adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor has provided personal information through this platform, contact us at grow@sproutskillsathome.com.

While the platform content addresses child development and is designed to support parents of children from birth through eight years, the platform itself is for adult members only. No information about children is collected through this platform.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request deletion of your personal information subject to applicable legal requirements
Opt out of non-essential communications at any time through your account settings

Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe using industry-standard encryption. Kajabi, our platform provider, may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and provide platform functionality. These are standard platform operation cookies and are not used for advertising tracking purposes. You may adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though doing so may affect your ability to use certain features of the platform.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. For material changes we will notify active members by email. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
